Haven Church Community
The Bible says, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”  (Matthew 18:20)   We count on this promise to as we combine fellowship, bible study and shared burdens in our Life Groups community.  We have started two Life Groups in addition to our WinGS Ladies’ and IMPACT Men’s groups, and we are planning more soon.   Please consider joining one of these Life Groups, as this is the best way to get to know one another and draw closer to the Lord at the same time!  Below are some of the groups we have launched.

Ladies’ Group

The ladies in our church family are the heart of our Church.  They are full of grace and faith and are some of our most active prayer warriors. They have formed a Life Group called “Women in God’s Service “ or WinGS.  They meet regularly to study God’s Word and to encourage one another in their walk with the Lord.

Our ladies have organized a Prayer Chain ministry to lift up urgent prayer needs among those in our extended Church family.  We believe in the power of Prayer in the life of every Christian and in our Church life.

Onward Student Ministry

Our Onward Student Ministry is a fun and interactive learning experience that challenges the mind and provides opportunities for growth.  Onward Kids meet every Sunday morning starting with Pathfinders at 9:30 am, and then the Onward Worship Service at 10:30 am.  We like to schedule extracurricular activities that are fun, educational, and will also serve our community.

Salt Life Group

This Life Group meets every Monday evening at 7:00 in the Garner area.  The most recent study has been the book: ‘Growing in Grace: Knowing and Loving God Through Spiritual Disciplines’ by Joanna Kimbrel and Stefanie Boyles.  This group is paused until the new year, 2023.

Seekers Life Group

This Life Group meets every Tuesday evening at 7:00 in the western Wake County area near Brier Creek.  The Seekers has also most recently studied the book: ‘Growing in Grace: Knowing and Loving God Through Spiritual Disciplines.’  This study is also paused the new year, 2023.

countenance of his friend.  (Proverbs 27:17)

Men’s Fellowship

This is a time for the Haven Church men and young men to get together outside of church to fellowship and just act like men.  No guarantees what the venue will look like when we leave … maybe some popcorn behind the cushions in the couch?   We’ll have a great time together, maybe we’ll kill something and grill it up!!

Accountability among men is an act of integrity.  Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. Our men meet monthly to study and discuss scripture and how to practically apply it to our daily lives.
